The experience
During our strategy call, I guided Gabbo through a brief brand audit using market research, competitive analysis, and client feedback. We also reviewed his brand identity and business goals to identify where his positioning could be stronger.
The research revealed that clients valued more than the haircut itself. They valued the experience, the sense of community Gabbo created, and his dedication to his clients. That loyalty drove repeat business and referrals, but his visual identity and marketing materials were not communicating the same level of value.
We used these insights to define his goals, challenges, competitive advantages, and opportunities for growth. From there, we developed a clear design brief, visual identity, marketing materials, and brand guidelines that reflected his personality, value proposition, and the experience he wanted to deliver.
The new branding helped Gabbo present his business more consistently and professionally while building on the loyalty and community he had already established. After implementing it, he received strong feedback from clients and saw a significant increase in sales. The stronger brand positioning also gave him more flexibility to adjust his pricing and increase the value of his customer relationships over time.
